According to Fab, he’s already recorded most of the material for the untitled tape and he’s even shot a video for one of the tracks. Emphasizing a focus on soul beats, Fab hit up his Twitter followers for some title suggestions.

The Verizon iPhone might not be official yet, but AT&T’s already firing an opening salvo in the war of words. Things are about to get nasty folks.
Speaking to Business Insider, AT&T PR head Larry Solomon couldn’t resist commenting upon the prospect of a Verizon iPhone by saying that he wasn’t “sure iPhone users are ready for life in the slow lane,” while noting that AT&T’s GSM-based network is faster than Verizon’s for 3G speeds.
That’s actually not debatable, but for most users, the speed advantages of AT&T’s 3G network are negligible… and my guess is that many customers would be more than happy to give up a few kb/s downstream if they could trade them for Verizon’s coverage and reliability. What do you guys think?

Hip-hop producer Statik Selektah works fast. In 2009, he and Saigon put out All In A Day’s Work, an album that the duo recorded in 24 hours and later released for retail. On December 30, 2010 Stat and Massachusetts spitter Termanology recorded their EP The Evening News and dropped it as a free download the next day. For his next trick, Statik will link up with Philadelphia’s Freeway to record and release their Statik-Free EP next week.
“Statik hit me with the idea last night (January 5),” Freeway told XXL. “And I got back at him this morning and it’s a go. We came up with the name and everything this morning.” Read more and download new track after the jump!!

Looking to up its market share and go head-to-head with the big boys, Motorola dropped three new products at this year’s Consumer Electronic Show. The maker of Verizon’s Droid dropped two new smartphones, the Droid Bionic, and the super-powerful, dual-core-processor-powered Atrix. Then it went ahead and announced its Xoom tablet, which is running Google’s yet-to-be-released Android 3.0 “Honeycomb” software. Do we smell a massacre? Eh, not really, but we’re amped nonetheless.

Grammy-winning singer Usher has confessed his desire to create a new music genre dubbed “Revolutionary Pop”.
While declining to specify his master plan, Usher did hint at what inspired his revolution.
Making little sense, Usher recently said that he is creating a new genre of music called “Revolutionary Pop,” which apparently inspired him to style his hair in a fauxhawk. “I’m working on a new genre of music — Revolutionary Pop — which combines several music genres to create a new sound experience,” said the R&B singer. “I love that people are talking about the new hair, it represents who I am now and the creative movement of Revolutionary Pop.”
