(Been Receiving Equity & Dollars). “Fresh” features DMV rapper B-Simp, and is produced by Jay-B, the man behind beats for Big K.R.I.T., Vado, Young Hustle and more. The clip was directed by New Orleans director Mally X. Heata has collaborated with fellow New Orleans rapper Nesby Phips, and released a few projects featuring production from the likes of Prospek and Jon Mercure, both with production credits in the JETLife camp via Trademark and Phips. VAlien….It’s what I’ve become over the years. Being a VAlien is not solely about being from Virginia. It’s about accepting who you are in a society full of so many people trying to fit in. With this project I wanted to give people something to feel proud of, relate to, and enjoy life to all in one. As long as one song touches somebody then my mission is complete. We are all VAliens.
