Looking to up its market share and go head-to-head with the big boys, Motorola dropped three new products at this year’s Consumer Electronic Show. The maker of Verizon’s Droid dropped two new smartphones, the Droid Bionic, and the super-powerful, dual-core-processor-powered Atrix. Then it went ahead and announced its Xoom tablet, which is running Google’s yet-to-be-released Android 3.0 “Honeycomb” software. Do we smell a massacre? Eh, not really, but we’re amped nonetheless.
