It would be an unforgivable sin to think about who the new champs are without mentioning these guys in the contention. In many ways, they’re the Godfathers of stoner rap. They may not have been first to do it, but they sure did make it popular and successful. On the flip side, they have their no nonsense street tales too. If it’s one thing these guys have, it’s street cred. That’s where they stay at and they ain’t gonna leave. Another thing that makes them more prolific and credible is their consistency. Never to be ones to changed by a switch in trends, they keep it street in their sound and their lyrics.
A decade, two albums, a mixtape, and several features on each other’s various solo and projects later, they’re still going strong and considered legends in this rap game. Currently, they’re working on their third album together, Blackout 3.

Rapper Redman has revealed that he his now a member of legendary Staten, Island Hip-Hop group, Wu-Tang Clan.
The Jersey City, Jersey rap star is currently on a tour of Europe, where he is promoting his upcoming album Reggie.
According to Redman, he became the official, 11th member of Wu-Tang Clan around 2005.
