Dee-1 Have been putting it down for a min in the Crescent City. I first heard of Dee-1 when i went to a 2-Cent event that featured a video of him freestyling. I was instantly a fan because one he is from New Orleans, two his lyrical content was on point, and three it had an underlying message behind his lyrics most artists are only social conscious when it benefits them in the limelight. Check the Vcrack music player for that Jayz, Wayne, and 50 by Dee-1, just from the title i thought it would sound like “Im better than Jay-z, wayne and 50″. I was mistaken, and knowing Dee-1′s choice of content i should have know better it took me by surprise as this mixtape will do as well, Enjoy peoples (Click Pic to Dload).

Picked Up a Mixtape from the Curren$y Concert, I always like to share music I have collected from daily travels and place it on the site and or other affiliated sites. Sometimes word of mouth is the best medium of promotion because the radio can force feed to a person so much bullshit that it makes their view bias and worthless. Although when you create a bond with a fan through concert, video, song, vice versa, you create a buzz amongst fans. Anyway I popped this in the whip and Caesar is spittin on this one. I was pleasantly surprised at the beat selection because it had more of a neosoul/hiphop feel. Cant lie I expected some Hot Boys/Mannie Fresh snare driven beats. I am proud of the Nola Hip Hop moment as of late. Its not just about cash flow clocking, drug trafficking, and fucking hoes. It actually have come back to Lyrical Content, Concepts, and Connected with real life situations. The whole tape bang but my Vcrack Track Pics from the mix tape are Track 3 (inspirational continue to grind track) Track 7 (with the Martin Luther King Sample) Track 12 (laid back thug ballad to a chick).
